Alamo Lodge No. 44 is the first and oldest Masonic Lodge in the City of San Antonio (Bexar County) and has a rich and unique history due to having been founded in the historic Alamo, the Shrine of Texas Liberty. The Lodge was granted a charter from the Grand Lodge of Texas on January 15, 1848 and is now honored by a plaque on the south wall of the long barracks were it was founded.

II. Keep inviolable the Ritual and Masonic traditions
III. Utilize innovative concepts to educate and cultivate our members
IV. Provide a family-friendly and inclusive environment for men of all races and creeds
V. To remain a well-respected and active pillar of the San Antonio and Texas community
VI. To involve, educate, entertain, develop and retain men of good character
VII. To remain a foundation for our community through charity, philanthropy and good will towards all men
VIII. To be true to our government and just to our country
IX. To avoid all irregularity and intemperance
X. To uphold the rules, regulations and laws of the Grand Lodge of Texas

Join us every Wednesday at 18:30 for dinner and fraternity, mason or not!
Stated Meetings: 2nd Wednesday of the month
Called Meetings: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month
School of Mystery Educational Presentation: Last Wednesday of every month
